For this project, I researched the water usage and consumption of the water diverted from the Colorado River to Central and Southern Arizona, by way of the Central Arizona Project, including an analysis on the water level of Lake Mead. 

Objectives

The objective was to analyze whether the growth of population and drought have an impact on water usage over time. The study aimed to evaluate whether current regulations were effective in promoting conservation efforts. The results showed a positive correlation between population growth and water usage, with drought exacerbating the impact. However, conservation efforts seemed to be reflected in the data, indicating that regulations may be contributing to reducing water usage. Overall, the study suggests that continued efforts are necessary to ensure sustainable water management in the long term.

Results

The effectiveness of Arizona's water conservation policy has been demonstrated by its ability to keep pace with the decline in Lake Mead's water levels, even as the state's population grows. Recent results indicate that Arizona's conservation efforts are paying off, allowing it to maintain sustainable water usage levels in the face of increasing demand. These findings suggest that Arizona's approach to water conservation could serve as a model for other regions grappling with similar challenges.

Objectives

The purpose of this project was to create a graphic using specific data provided to me, in which I needed to display southeast Asia and highlight major cities in their respective countries.
