My name is Katherine Hansen, and I graduated magna cum laude from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s in Geography and a minor in Sustainability. I have academic experience with natural resources, as well as climate change, global change and geographic information systems.
After having grown up in the low deserts of Arizona and the high deserts of Nevada, much of my focus both in education and my own personal interests have revolved around water and climate change. Through my professional experience and in expanding my education, I hope to have an influence on world.
As a geography and sustainability professional, I have a deep understanding of the issues surrounding natural resources, climate change, and global change. I am skilled in using geographic information systems to analyze and visualize data, and I am passionate about finding solutions to problems related to climate change.
I live in Carson City, Nevada with my cat Annie. On my off time, I can be found exploring the beautiful Sierra Nevada's.
